Cosplay

We encourage cosplaying at LIBCON West! All costumes should be age-appropriate for an audience including kids and teens. Please make sure that you are familiar with our weapons procedure before attending in costume.

All prop and costume weapons must be inspected by LIBCON West staff and volunteers.

All cosplay guests are subject to change.

2024 Featured Cosplayers

Whether you are creating a costume that is sexy, elaborate, colorful, or all of the above - cosplay is designed to attract attention. It’s meant to celebrate being a fan by making the fictional seem fantastically real. Attention, though, does not grant consent to act inappropriately.

Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. “Harassment” includes using profane and/or obscene language, directing verbal or physical threats toward another person, and engaging in behavior with the sole intent of annoying another person. Voyeurism or peeping, exhibitionism or flashing, lewd or lascivious acts are also unacceptable. Engaging in these behaviors will result in immediate expulsion from LIBCON West and the Glendale Public Library.

This policy is in accordance with the City of Glendale Community Services Department's Code of Conduct.
